Unterföhring, December 20, 2021 – At the end of the year, ice hockey fans can look forward to many live games in the NHL.
Tonight we start with the Dallas Stars, who meet the Minnesota Wild.
On the last day of the year, Sky commentator Franz Büchner welcomes the viewers at 7 p.m. on Sky Sport 2 when the New Jersey Devils meet the Edmonton Oilers, who have to go again the next day. On New Years, Draisaitl’s team will be guest at the New York Islanders. Then Christoph Stadtler will comment live from 8 p.m.
Due to the corona, however, there may be short-term changes to the NHL schedule.
Up to and including 2024/25, Sky will broadcast around 300 games live per season. With this, Sky will offer its customers more NHL encounters than ever before shown on German television.
Even fans who missed the live broadcasts or who want to watch more NHL ice hockey in addition to single games in full length will have the opportunity to do so on Sky in the future. After each night of live broadcast, Sky usually shows the best game from the night in full length at the fixed broadcast time at 7:00 a.m.
