How to Delete WhatsApp Group Messages Automatically : Okezone techno

JAKARTAWhatsApp now testing and developing Lost Messages feature with 24 hour option for private and group chats. According to WABetaInfo, the website that tracks WhatsApp in Beta, revealed that the missing messages feature will be available in an update sometime in the future.

“WhatsApp will not replace the 7-day option, but 24 hours will be an additional option,” the report said. When the user selects “24 hours”, all messages sent and received after this change will expire after 24 hours, so they will disappear from the chat.

Here’s how to get rid of messages automatically after 24 hours of being sent:

The first step that needs to be known before sending a message is the disappearing message feature. First, this feature must be activated before use. Second, this feature can only be used per contact or per phone number.

For example, when the user only wants to exchange messages with person A, the user first activates a disappearing message on the contact concerned. So, this feature cannot be activated at once for all friends on WhatsApp.

Here’s how to enable it for private messages:

1. Make sure you have updated WhatsApp to the latest version;

2. Open WhatsApp, open the chat room with the contact you want to select;

3. Click on the name or contact information;

4. Scroll down until you find “Disappearing Message”;

5. Click the menu, then select “On”.
