Deputy of Bappilu DPP Democratic party, Kamhar Lakumani said his party respected the decision of comedian Sunarji or Narii to join the cadre VFD.
He conveyed this in response to the figure of Narji, who was rumored to be joining the Democrats soon, but has now officially become a PKS cadre.
“We respect and respect any choice and decision of Bang Narji when he is currently part of the PKS big family. That is his political right,” Kamhar told reporters. CNNIndonesia.com, Sunday (19/12).
Kamhar then said that there had been communication between the Chairman of the Democratic Party Bappilu Andi Arief and Narji during an informal activity. On that occasion, Narji expressed his intention to enter politics.
Then, Kamhar explained that Narji had the same vision and views with the Democrats in seeing the current national situation.
“In many ways, there are many similarities in vision and perspective, in looking at the political situation and the life of the nation and state. Mas Narji found similarities with the Democrats. So yes, we are quite optimistic that he will become part of the big family of the Democratic Party,” said Kamhar.
However, Kamhar did not deny that in politics there must be dynamics going on. The issue of Narji’s political choices is no exception. He respects and fully surrenders Narji’s political choice to choose a party.
“If there are dynamics, it’s normal to happen. Even those who have become part of a certain political party and then during other political seasons become part of another political party, it often happens. We still respect and respect Mas Narji’s political decisions. But when he has made a decision, we will respect it ,” he said.
Narji was reportedly close to the Democratic Party. He was even predicted to join the party led by Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono.
The Democrat Party has welcomed Narji’s plan to join the party bearing the star of mercy.
“Welcome genius comedian Narji. Hopefully he can do a lot for the people later,” wrote the chairman of the Democratic Party’s Election Winning Body (Bappilu), Andi Arief on his Twitter account last November.
However, in the end Narji chose to join PKS. He symbolically immediately received a Membership Card (KTA) directly from PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu, Sunday (19/12).
