The club confirms the departure of theirs websites.
– After a comprehensive assessment of the 2021 season, we have agreed with Vibeke that it is best for the club if a new general manager gets the job of rebuilding the club after the relegation to the Obos league, says chairman Siv Skard in a press release from Brann.

Birger Grevstad resigned as Brann’s chairman of the board on Thursday and stated a lack of trust as the reason for his decision. On Friday, Espen Brochmann resigned from the Brann board, while Geirmund Brendesæter withdrew for reasons of impartiality.
– I think it’s an incredibly strange situation, the whole thing. We were put under pressure by the board to protect Vibeke’s position, and this happens two days later. It is incredibly strange, says Grevstad to VG on Saturday night – and says he was among those who worked for a renewal of the top management, without it necessarily meaning to remove Johannesen.
Grevstad refers to the job that lies ahead of the club, both in terms of the pitch, the economy and the future of the Obos league – and says there was too much “war” in the board towards his decision to resign.
– The board was divided in two, among other things on the basis of Johannesen, and now they throw her out shortly after they have got me and others out, he says, and says he thought his own dismissal would give Johannesen peace of mind.
