TV Nova is preparing a New Year’s Eve surprise! Old familiar faces return to the screens

Nova TV has prepared an unconventional surprise for its viewers. The stars of Televizní noviny from previous years will return to the camera. In the New Year’s Eve special, you can look forward to, for example, Pavla Charvátová, Pavel Dumbrovský or Zbyněk Merunka.

For example, moderator Pavel Dumbrovský will appear in Silvestrovské Televizní noviny. “Well, I have to say, it felt like I left yesterday. Everyone here is very nice. At first I was a little afraid of coming back, but in the end I really enjoyed it,” he described his feelings.

Dumbrovský first moderated the Víkend magazine, and a year later he became the face of Televizní noviny. His first moderating colleague was Pavla Charvátová, later Renáta Czadernová and Michaela Ochotská. He worked at Nova for fourteen years. In the 1990s, he won the TýTý poll in the News Moderator category.

Viewers can also look forward to Pavla Charvátová, who first presented Breakfast with Nova. In 2003, she first started moderating Televizní noviny with Pavel Zuna and three years later with Dumbrovský.

“It was very nice to see the colleagues I met after a long time, and on the contrary, I would also like to see new faces. I would like to wish the spectators happy and satisfied until the new year,” said Charvátová.

The moderators Zbyněk Merunka and Martin Severa will also return to the screens. Merunka became the first moderator of the main news program Televizní noviny. It was since 1994 that he moderated briefly with Stanislava Wanatowicz, then with Eva Jurinová. Since 1994, Martin Severa has moderated evening reports with Martina Kociánová and later with Jitka Obzinová.

At Silvestrovské Televizní noviny, viewers can look forward to TV Nova on 31 December.
