The theater from Cheb is going to say goodbye to the actor Tomáš Kolomazník and remember him. The mourning ceremony itself has already taken place in the family circle. Kolomazník succumbed to a serious illness a few days ago.
Tomáš Kolomazník died on the night from Sunday to Monday. At the age of 44, he succumbed to a long and severe illness. The theatergoers from the West Bohemian Theater in Cheb are therefore planning to say goodbye to the actor.
“On Sunday, December 19, we will meet together in the auditorium of the Cheb Theater at 3 pm and we will remember our colleague, friend and great actor Tomáš Kolomazník,” the Cheb Theater informed on Facebook.
The mourning ceremony itself has already taken place in the immediate family circle. “As a lover of nature and everything natural, Tomáš did not want any ceremonial formalities, speeches and ordeals,” the theater added.
The theater therefore invites the fans to come and say goodbye to the actor as well. “On Sunday, please come without ties, black suits and veils – to listen to Tomáš’s favorite music and remember his best acting performances. In memory of a nice friend and a good man, we can then have a drink together in the open air,” they wrote.
Kolomazník played, for example, in the film Pohádkář. He also appeared in episodes of Assassination, Life at the Castle, Rapl or Mordart. However, his career was mainly connected with theater. Since 2010, he has worked at the West Bohemian Theater in Cheb, where he played, for example, Demetria in Midsummer Night’s Dream or Alexander Veršinin in The Three Sisters.
His engagement in this theater ended after five years, when he left due to persistent health problems. However, he continued to collaborate with the Cheb Theater as a guest.
