There was an interesting figure in Antonio Conte’s last training session at Tottenham Hotspur’s training facility on Friday afternoon.
Tottenham is preparing to start its Premier League season again with a visit to Liverpool on Sunday, following a coronavirus outbreak on Hotspur Way.
The Spurs, who have not played a game in any competition for two weeks, were put to the test yesterday by the Italian coach and a certain Yaya Santiago was included in the session.
The Lilywhites signed the passionate 18-year-old Spaniard from Real Betis in 2019 and he made his debut in the U-23 category 12 months ago.
Here’s a photograph of the teenage prospect, to the left of Oliver Skipp.

Missing Pierluigi Gollini?
Tottenham might have a rarely seen academy prospect on the bench against Liverpool, but it’s not Santiago.
Pierluigi Gollini, the Spurs’ substitute goalkeeper, did not appear to be present at the Hotspur Way on Friday.
Hugo Lloris, Alfie Whiteman and Brandon Austin were photographed in the session, but there was no sign of the Italian goalkeeper Fabio Paratici signed on loan from Atalanta last summer.
Gollini has yet to kick a ball in the Premier League for Tottenham, being an unused substitute in his 14 games, but, if absent, one for Whiteman or Austin could be named to the squad on Sunday.
