The first fruits of cooperation between the famous rally driver Ken Block and Audi arrived very quickly. The racer decided to continue shooting a series of videos called Gymkhana, where he will be racing in an electric, tailor-made Audi called Audi S1 e-tron quattro Hoonitron.

At first glance, the electric car is inspired by the famous racing special Audi Sport Quattro S1, which raced in Pikes Peak. After all, Ken Block is also a hilltop specialist, so this inspiration offered. The car has significantly extended fenders, a large rear wing and a distinctive front spoiler. Everything adapted to the greatest possible pressure.

Audi has not yet published any further information about the novelty, but it is remarkable how quickly the whole project was created. According to information from the carmaker, Auto got into a prototype from paper in an incredible four weeks. Among other things, Block is already testing the car, and fans can look forward to it soon in the new part of Gymkhan.

“I know a lot of different cars with internal combustion engines, but there was a lot of new something for me that I had to learn. Start rubberizing at 150 km / h straight from scratch, just by moving your right foot, that’s a new thing. My work focused on getting used to the car, ”Block said.
