Singer Marco Borsato has now filed a complaint against the 22-year-old woman who previously filed a complaint against him for ‘indecent assaults’. The singer makes this known through his lawyers from Knoops’ Advocaten.

Borsato has been charged with making a false declaration, libel, slander and making a defamatory charge. ‘From the moment a request was made on 9 December 2021 to the Public Prosecution Service to initiate an exploratory investigation into the sources of the unjust insinuations towards Mr Marco Borsato, he has been working with his lawyers to prepare this detailed declaration. and to provide a number of additional pieces of evidence’, said Knoops’ Advocaten.
Borsato also filed a complaint against the woman’s mother, for ‘inciting and complicity in the foregoing facts’.
The 22-year-old woman stated last week that she had been sexually abused by Borsato from the age of 15. The Public Prosecution Service has launched an investigation. Last week, Borsato announced through his lawyers that he had asked the Public Prosecution Service to investigate the origin of the allegations of sexual abuse, which he firmly denies.
