The vaccination bus tours through Vienna! With two vaccination buses, the city wants to increase the population’s willingness to vaccinate. In the vaccination buses, Viennese can get the important injection quickly, easily and unbureaucratically.
Vaccination buses vaccinate all week
The two buses were provided by Wiener Linien and go to highly frequented places all over Vienna. Vaccinations are given from Monday to Thursday between 10:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday to Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. It is not necessary to register, just show a photo ID and – if available – the e-card. The vaccination buses will be on the road from summer to autumn.
Third vaccination for vaccination buses
With the Viennese vaccination buses, Viennese can get the COVID-19 vaccination free of charge and without registration. It does not matter whether it is the first, second or third vaccination. Vaccinations with the vaccine from Biontech / Pfizer are available in the vaccination buses. This vaccine is suitable for everyone aged 12 and over. A booster vaccination is also possible in the vaccination boxes for people aged 16 and over. There is a separate children’s vaccine for children aged 5 to 11 years, which is vaccinated at 11 locations in Vienna, at all other vaccination locations a corona vaccination is possible for children with a reduced adult vaccine.
The important injection against the virus can also be received in the vaccination boxes, vaccination bim and mobile vaccination stations of the city as well as at the family doctor.
