Thousands of postal workers will then hear that they will be transferred to the company’s daughter company. For that to happen, however, they will first have to terminate the existing contracts and take their employers’ word for it that they will not be exposed to the wind.
Polish Post is preparing a huge reorganization. About two thousand financial advisers and postmen from the sales division are to move to the newly created subsidiary called Poczta Polska Dystrybucja SA In January, they will hear from their superiors that the transition to the new company will be possible only if when they terminate their contracts with the current employer. Future bosses will decide whether they will receive new offers. Those of them who will not agree, they will be out of work.
– It is a simple manipulation and an attempt to get rid of part of the warehouse – says Piotr Moniuszko, head of the Free Trade Union of Post Employees in an interview with us.
