Second time they cross paths in the final
Deportivo Cali and Deportes Tolima have already defined a title in short tournaments. The first star of the vinotinto was in the second half of 2003 after beating the Valle del Cauca team in the grand final.
Tolima won 2-0 in the first leg in Ibagué, but Deportivo Cali leveled the aggregate with 3-1 in the second leg, for which they were defined on penalties. Vinotinto took the trophy after winning the series 4-2 from the white spot.
