TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Luxury fashion brand Caviar introduces the iPhone Stealth 2.0 custom model. Modify the model iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max and make it armored with BR-2 class 2 bulletproof armor, this product will be sold on a limited basis.
The bulletproof body was made directly by NPO TCIT, a company that specializes in helicopter gunships and armored vehicles. However, this new design comes at the expense of the iPhone’s front and rear cameras—just like last year’s modified version of the iPhone 12. Face ID also doesn’t work and may not have biometric authentication.
Caviar argues removing the camera allows users to work with their phones in areas where cameras are prohibited. Instead, the brand demonstrated the new features, including bulletproof armor, in a video.
The video shows a man shooting an iPhone Stealth 2.0 with a gun. While the phone lost its functionality, it managed to stop the bullets from penetrating the armor. “Most likely the owner will get away with just a bruise,” the company said.
In addition, Caviar also explained that if two bullets were fired, the owner would receive severe bruising, but still avoid a gunshot wound. “This phone can deflect up to two bullets, and the second renders it unusable,” he said.
According to the Caviar website, there will only be 99 versions of the phone each. Buyers have a choice between iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max with a storage capacity of up to 1 TB. The most affordable version will be available for US$ 6,370 (Rp 91 million) and the most expensive with 1 TB of storage priced at US $ 7,980 (Rp 115 million).
