According to USA Today, the contest will only be available to stream through Peacock. Peacock will present the event on December 16, 2021 at 8 p.m. ET.
In the past, the competition was generally broadcast via television during prime time.

Former Miss Virginia defending champion Camille Schrier won Miss America 2020.
She was able to retain the title for an additional year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
On June 22, 2019, she was crowned Miss Virginia 2019.
The biochemist successfully defeated 50 women to win the 2020 Miss America crown.
