The footprints of ancient lizards are so well preserved that you can see the pattern of their scaly skin.
Several hundred dinosaur paw prints have been found in Poland, which are perfectly preserved and belong to at least seven different species of extinct animals. This was reported on December 16 by the agency Reuters.
It is noted that the find in a clay quarry in Borkowice was investigated by scientists from the Polish Geological Institute. According to them, the footprints will allow you to learn more about the ecosystem of the region 200 million years ago.
“By the tracks left by the dinosaurs, you can find out their life and habits … We identified the tracks of dinosaurs that ran, swam, rested and sat,” said geologist Grzegorz Niedzwieński.
The largest footprint is 40 centimeters long. Scientists suggest that it was abandoned by a predator.
