Bruce Springsteen has sold his albums and music rights to Sony Music for a deal worth about $ 500 million, according to Billboard.
The deal gives Sony ownership of the entire rocker catalog, which includes the 15-time platinum album “Born In The USA” and the five-time platinum album “The River”.
Before Springsteen, musicians such as David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Steve Nix and Neil Young also sold their catalogs or lifelong record companies.
