The “Iron Wall” around the Gaza Strip is complete. That is what Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz said last week. The barrier extends over 65 kilometers and consists of over 140,000 tonnes of iron and steel.
General Eran Ofir has led the work. He calls it “one of the most complex projects the defense industry has ever built.”
