The WhatsApp instant messaging app, owned by Meta (formerly Facebook), is launching a feature that will allow users to preview their voicemail message on WhatsApp before sending it. The instant messaging app announced this feature on Tuesday. WhatsApp said that voice notes bring “users closer to their friends and family.” This feature is considered to be an easier and faster way to send a message when users need to send a message. This feature is being rolled out for all Android and iOS users and will be available on all devices in the coming days.
This new feature allows users to preview their voice notes before sending them. Currently, there is no option to preview voice notes before sending them. To listen to a WhatsApp voice note before sending it, users need to do a few manipulations, but there is no direct option for it. The rumor that all WhatsApp users would benefit from this feature has already been raised on several occasions. With the feature finally available to all users, let’s see how to preview a voicemail message.
- Open a chat window.
- Touch and slide the microphone up to lock hands-free mode.
- Start talking.
- When finished, press “Stop”.
- Press play to listen to your recording. You can also touch any part of the recording to play it from that timestamp.
- Tap the trash can to delete the voicemail message, or tap send to send it.
