NEW YORK – Police are looking for a man who struck a 22-year-old subway passenger in the face and then pushed him onto the road at the Atlantic Avenue station in Brooklyn during rush hour Monday morning, according to the authorities.
The victim fractured his left arm and wrist in the fall just before 9 a.m. He also suffered lacerations to his left knee and bruises to his right knee, police said.
The 22-year-old was taken to a hospital in stable condition. Police say the suspect fled on a northbound Q train after the attack. It was not clear what caused it.
