Former Manchester City Manager Roberto Mancini sad because Sergio Aguero. Attacker Barcelona it is believed to soon announce early retirement due to arrhythmias.
Barcelona confirmed that it will hold a press conference to explain Aguero’s future today (15/12/2021). The Argentinian bomber is widely reported to have decided to withdraw from football due to health conditions that do not allow it.
Aguero has been out of action since October after experiencing shortness of breath in the middle of Barcelona’s match against Deportivo Alaves. The 33-year-old forward was rushed to hospital before being diagnosed with a heart rhythm disorder (arrhythmia), which could be life-threatening if forced to continue playing in the future.
Mancini has worked with Sergio Aguero at Manchester City between 2011-2013. Aguero scored 46 goals and 18 assists over 86 games, including his most famous goal against QPR which ensured City’s dramatic 2011/12 Premier League title.
“I’m very sorry, I wish him the best,” said Mancini quoted TMW. “I’m so sorry to see him leave so soon.”
“I wanted him at City. He’s a foreigner with the highest goalscoring average in England. I’m sorry he had to leave football too soon.” Italiano who is now in charge of the Italian national team.
Throughout his career Aguero was one of the best strikers of his generation. Aguero having scored more than 350 goals in the highest level of football with Atletico Madrid, Man City and Barcelona.
A total of 260 goals were scored Sergio Aguero for Man City to become the club’s all-time top scorer. Aguero also became the most prolific foreign player in Premier League history after scoring 184 goals.
