Insinuations about Ukrainian diplomats have become a side effect of the Russian cocaine case, Oleg Nikolenko noted.
Russia is spreading a fake story about the Ukrainian embassy in Lebanon to cover up its scandal about the smuggling of cocaine from the Russian embassy in Argentina. On Tuesday, December 14, the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleg Nikolenko wrote about this on his page in Facebook.
“The Russian Foreign Ministry launched a fake about the work of the Ukrainian embassy in Lebanon, the real goal of which is to create a smoke curtain against the background of the unfolding of the case of smuggling cocaine from the Russian embassy in Argentina,” he wrote, without specifying what kind of Russian fake it was.
Nikolenko recalled that on the eve of the Russian jury delivered a guilty verdict to four defendants in a high-profile criminal case on the smuggling of cocaine from Argentina to the Russian Federation. They face up to 25 years in prison.
“It is obvious that insinuations about Ukrainian diplomats have become a side effect of the Russian cocaine case,” the Foreign Ministry spokesman said.

Later, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported that the law enforcement agencies of Russia and Argentina conducted a joint operation to cut off the supply of cocaine consignments from that South American country to Europe. Also in the Russian Federation stated that 400 kilograms of cocaine in the Russian diplomatic mission appeared as a result of the provocation of the American special services.
