The Golden Globe Awards are often a prelude to an Oscar, which is why the film world is looking forward to announcing the nominees.
Jessica Chastain, Olivia Coleman, Nicole Kidman, Lady Gaga and Kristen Stewart have been nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama, BTA reports, citing The Independent. Jessica Chastain for her role in “Eyes of Tammy Faye”, Olivia Coleman – for “The Unknown Daughter”, Nicole Kidman – for “Being Ricardo”, Lady Gaga for “The House of Gucci” and Kristen Steert for “Spencer”.

The 79th Golden Globe Awards ceremony will take place on January 9th.
