Reconstruction works are continuing in Valmiera Theater, therefore the troupe has been touring all over Latvia, but next year promises to be quite hopeful. We ask Evita Asheraden, the director of Valmiera Theater, about the situation in the theater. Although the theater is undergoing renovations, spectators will be invited back to the theater in January.

Three premieres are scheduled for January. The production of Keren Klimovsky’s drama “My Father – Peter Pen” by the new director Henry Araj is planned.

In turn, Inese Mičule composes Edward Olbie’s play “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolf?” Varis Brasla is staging Alvis Lapins’ work “I’m Not a Piano”.
