In Ukraine, on Monday, December 13, train No. 5/6 Mariupol-Rakhiv departed for the first flight. It will connect seven regions and cover 1,806 kilometers, which is the longest passenger rail route in the country. informs press service of Ukrzaliznytsia.

“The train consists of 10 completely new cars, which were built by a domestic manufacturer … This train covers almost the entire country and will allow residents of many settlements to visit tourist corners of Ukraine without a change,” said Oleksandr Pertsovskiy, member of the board of Ukrzaliznytsia JSC.

The train includes reserved seats, compartments and suites.

The new train runs with stops in Zaporozhye, Dnieper, Belaya Tserkov, Lvov, Ivano-Frankovsk, Yaremche, Tatariv, Vorokhta, Yasin and Kvasakh.

The cars are equipped with changing tables, environmentally friendly toilets, video surveillance systems in shared areas, air conditioners, sockets, USB ports, alarms in each passenger compartment.

Also, the cars now have an increased volume of the luggage compartment, and in each compartment there is a lighting control panel with four modes, an indicator for the occupancy of the dressing room and a button to call the conductor.

The train travel time is 27 hours 34 minutes from Mariupol to Rakhiv. In the opposite direction, the journey will take 28 hours 46 minutes.

The cost of travel documents is from 430 hryvnia.

UZ does not plan to raise tariffs in 2022
