Buenos Aires, Dec 12 (EFE) .- The champion River Plate ended its participation in this Liga 2021 Tournament with a 1-1 draw away from Atlético Tucumán, while Boca Juniors thrashed Central Córdoba 8-1 on the day farewell to the contest.
Meanwhile, Racing Club and Unión de Santa Fe were left with the last two places available for the 2022 edition of the South American Cup after their respective triumphs against Godoy Cruz (2-1) and Colón de Santa Fe (3-0).
Julián Álvarez, from River Plate, was established as the tournament’s top scorer with 18 goals.
