COACH Vietnam National Team, Park Hang-seo, rate Indonesian National team which went down in AFF Cup 2020 experienced an increase, compared to when they finished in the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers in the Asia zone in mid-June 2021. He assessed that the Indonesian national team under Shin Tae-yong’s care is currently playing much more active, especially in terms of intensity and fitness.
Previously, Shin Tae-yong and Park Hang-seo had a duel in the Asian zone 2022 World Cup Qualification Group G match. In a match held at Al-Maktoum Stadium, Dubai, Vietnam won 4-0 over the Indonesian national team.

Yesterday, Vietnam and the Indonesian national team played on the same day, Sunday 12 December 2021 for the second match of Group B of the 2020 AFF Cup. When Vietnam met Malaysia, a few hours before the Indonesian national team met Laos.
In the match against Laos, the Indonesian national team appeared ferocious and was able to win the match with a landslide score of 5-1. Meanwhile, Vietnam beat Malaysia 3-0.
“We met Indonesia in the second qualifying round of the World Cup. I just watched the Indonesia vs Laos match in this round. They are well trained, playing much more actively than the matches in June, especially in terms of play, intensity and fitness,” Park said as quoted by Vietnamese media Dan Viet, Monday (12/13/2021).
Park Hang-seo admitted that he was very enthusiastic about returning to face Shin Tae-yong’s squad. Despite admitting Shin Tae-yong is his favorite coach, he refuses to lose at all.
