Although the new device has been one of the company’s worst kept secrets, the new Moto Edge X30 smartphone just became official this week, through an announcement made by Motorola.
The announcement came months after several leaks about the cell appeared on the internet, indicating that this would be the first smartphone in the world to feature the Sanpdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, the most powerful processor ever manufactured to this day.
Despite the new official announcement, Lenovo, the controlling company of the Motorola company, has yet to reveal any information about the availability or pricing details of this smartphone in countries other than China, however, this does not necessarily mean that the Moto Edge X30 will be exclusive to the Chinese market. Furthermore, according to various rumors that have surfaced on the internet, an official announcement about the launch of the device for the American market is expected to take place in January 2022.
The Moto Edge X30 will feature the Android operating system and will offer users one of the best designs ever made by Motorola, combined with its performance, which promises to be one of the fastest seen so far in the smartphone world, precisely because of the new processor Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This processor will be responsible for making the cell phone 35% faster and 25% more efficient in terms of battery consumption than the model previously released for this line of devices.
In addition to being the first smartphone in the world to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor in its structure, it will also be available in two different versions in relation to its storage space. According to Motorola, it will be possible to purchase the device in a 128GB version, as well as an enhanced version, which will offer a total of 256GB of memory.
As for the smartphone’s RAM memory, it will have two variations, and it is possible for consumers to buy the most basic version, 8 GB, or the more powerful version, which will have 12 GB of RAM memory.
Finally, Motorola also announced that, on its back, the device will feature three cameras, which will differentiate it from other cell phone models manufactured by Motorola, and its main camera will have a quality of 50 MP.
