Friday, on the Arcachon basin, Frédéric Vaudeville, bar owner and native Angloy, was killed by stabbing in front of his establishment while trying to separate two men who were fighting
When help arrived on the scene in La Teste-de-Buch, on the Arcachon basin, Friday, December 10, in the middle of the night, two men were lying on the ground in a bloodbath. Frédéric Vaudeville, 49, the owner of the bar-restaurant Le Basque du Bassin, hit in the femoral artery by a stab, lost consciousness. The emergency services try to revive him for nearly an hour. In vain.
Wanting to put an end to a fight between two customers, Frédéric Vaudeville, was stabbed to death in the parking lot of his establishment. A second victim, injured in the leg by one or more stab wounds, was evacuated to the CHU in Bordeaux. She should be heard shortly.
Fatal blows
At the scene, a city entrepreneur, 42 years old and of Italian nationality, was arrested and taken into police custody. He admitted to being the author of the fatal stab. The Bordeaux prosecutor’s office has opened a judicial investigation for fatal blows.
Originally from England, born in Anglet, Frédéric Vaudeville was a well-known figure in the Arcachon Basin where he wore the colors of the local rugby club. He had made his debut at the Bayonne Rally, among other clubs.
