Anne-Claire Coudray is a very talented presenter, always loyal to the post. However, the titular presenter of the Journal du weekend de TF1 missed the call this Friday… The Objeko team tells you all about the reason for this urgent replacement in this article.
Anne-Claire Coudray: an exceptional career
Anne-Claire Coudray is one of its presenters who have a breathtaking career, and who have not yet reached the top! The 44-year-old journalist and television host was born in Rennes, to a very humble family. Very quickly, she showed a mad talent for studies. She thus integrates a preparatory class, then brilliantly spends two years in hypokhâgne and khâgne.
A real workhorse, Anne-Claire Coudray follows two bachelor’s and master’s degree courses at the same time, while starting as a journalist on Radio Campus Rennes. It makes him want to continue down this path. She thus graduated from the Lille School of Journalism. This same school saw pass, years before, a certain Jean-Pierre Pernaut.
Anne-Claire Coudray began her career as an external journalist. She reports in France and abroad for TF1, Arte, and France 3. She is clearly not shy, and even intervenes in conflict zones.
In 2000, she joined the TF1 group, oscillating between TMC and LCI. It is however from the following decade that everything is linked for her, at a crazy speed.
The beginning of the consecration for the presenter
Anne-Claire Coudray quickly finds herself in the right place at the right time. The presenter who is always at the top of her profession thus covers several major events: the presidential election in Côte d’Ivoire in 2010, the Dominique Strauss-Kahn affair and the marriage of Prince Albert of Monaco in 2011, or the 2012 US presidential election from the United States.
Until now, Anne-Claire Coudray was the replacement and the joker of many other titular journalists. From 2015, she became the holder of the Weekend Journal on TF1, from Friday evening to Sunday evening. Her joker is the lovely Audrey Crespo-Mara.
Anne-Claire Coudray quickly shows that she has the shoulders for such a role. Less than a month after taking office as holder, she covers the attacks of November 13, partially accompanied by Gilles Bouleau. This collaboration between the two journalists continues, in particular with the interviews of presidential candidates.
In 2017, the presenter of the Journal du weekend de TF1 received the Roland-Dorgelès Prize, which is an award given each year to two journalists (one from radio and one from television) who “contribute to the influence of the French language” . There is definitely only one medal missing: the TF1 20H newscast. With such a journey, there is no doubt that she will succeed very soon!
Anne-Claire Coudray absent from the news: explanations
The faithful of the Journal du weekend de TF1 had a big surprise this Friday, December 10. Anne-Claire Coudray, who is still loyal to the post, was not present on the air. This did not fail to worry viewers.
Julien Arnaud, usually Gilles Bouleau’s joker, took the job. Audrey Crespo-Mara is indeed right now on vacation. The reason for the absence of the titular presenter could not be more worrying.
On Thursday, December 9, Anne-Claire Coudray tested positive for COVID-19! The terrible disease is wreaking havoc in France at this very moment. We are indeed in the middle of the fifth wave, which is even more infectious than the fourth wave. The fault lies partly with the new Omicron variant, which has already entered our territory.
At the moment, we do not know more about the state of health of the presenter. However, it is not a priori one of the groups at risk. However, we should not expect to see her land next weekend. As for the rest of the technical team, as you can imagine, it must be complicated to manage! An infection within the editorial staff of TF1 could have much more disastrous consequences. The Objeko team wishes Anne-Claire Coudray a good recovery, hoping to see her beaming smile again very soon on our screens!
