Nancy (2-1): The summary of the Ligue 2 match day 18

The 18^th Ligue 2 day was the opportunity for Nancy to face Nîmes, at the Costières stadium. The men of Plancque won their match 2 to 1. We will remember the beautiful match of Már Ómarsson, who distinguished himself with his assist and his goal. It was a Nîmes squad in classic 4-4-2 that started the match, with Már Ómarsson and Koné in attack, facing Pedretti’s 3-4-3, setting up Thiam and Biron in attack.

Nîmes opened the scoring in the 27^th by Már Ómarsson, on a pass from Ciss. However, the match was restarted completely with Thiam equalizing on a service from Már Ómarsson to the 43^th. Immediately afterwards, thanks to Koné, the Nîmes scored the last goal of the match even before the end of the first period (44^th).

The referee released a card for Burner, then for Fomba and Ciss. At the 83^th minute, because of Lefebvre’s fault, Nancy had to continue the match at 10.

Nîmes therefore takes three points, which allows players to access the 10^th place in the standings, ahead of Quevilly RM. Nancy falls in the rankings and therefore finds herself in the red lantern of Ligue 2.
