Emil Meek lost his comeback in Paris.

The Norwegian started the match well in his first appearance in the organization Ares, but had early problems against Danish Louis Glisman.
Glisman got hold of Meek’s arm, and the Norwegian MMA fighter had to tap out after an armbar, one minute and one second into the first round.
– He went in and was going to give everything. He was taken down immediately and was unable to return. This hurts to look at, says Direktesport commentator Carl Magnus Fossum after the loss was a fact.
– I would like to go into the cage there now and give him a hug, and told him that this is going well. But this is of course very disappointing, after so much work he has put in, Fossum continues.
Meek’s opponent, Louis Gilman, will in all probability have the chance to participate in the world’s largest MMA organization UFC after the victory over the Norwegian.

There were great expectations attached to Emil Meek’s comeback, who told VG before the match that he would put his gloves on the shelf in the event of a loss.
– I have thought that if I lose this match I will quit, and have probably said it out loud as well. I will not lose against Glismann, so if it happens it is easy to think that I do not bother this anymore, Meek told VG before the match.
At the same time, the same newspaper reports that there may be a new battle in the same organization already in January, if he decides to continue his career.
The last time Meek fought was in February 2020, then at the world-famous MMA organization UFC.
After three straight losses in the UFC, Meek was finally told that he should no longer be bet on in the world’s most famous fighting organization.
