Recently in Murviel, the first meeting to set up the local mental health council (CLSM) took place under the chairmanship of Josian Cabrol, in the presence of Jean Arcas, president of the Country, of Marie-Pierre Pons vice-president of the council. departmental, Martine Gil representing the community of communes Les Avant-Monts.
Jean Arcas quickly presented the Pays Haut-Languedoc and vineyards, its territory and its actions to all the participants. Laure Abadie, coordinator of the country’s local health contract, presented the local mental health council and its interest for the population. The second point was the presentation of the diagnosis of the territory. A decisive document for the choice of actions to be implemented. The roadmap, that is to say the next steps, have been validated by the implementation of a deferred remote vote for priority themes, so that each partner can consult its teams and its patients / users.
The third phase was a time of work in three sub-groups to reflect together on the mobilization of the general population on this sometimes a little taboo subject, and to emphasize that health has two faces, physical health but also mental health and that in this period of a pandemic, it is even more important to take them into account together.
