Usually for the white and quiet time of the year, this concert program will include the band’s original songs about compassion for each other, which are so lacking at this time, love and faith for the good. You will also hear world-famous traditional Christmas songs and, given the rich experience of the country of country music, Christian music, composed in the country-friendly and ear-pleasing country sound of the group “Sixth Mile”. Of course, the eternal Christmas anthem “Silent Night, Holy Night”, which we will always sing together, will not be missed either.
“Due to the global situation, we can’t go on a tour of the churches of Latvia this year to our listeners, but instead of playing with a screen and cameras, we are really looking forward to this only meeting with you in the heart of Riga. In the group “Sixth Mile” music: singer and composer Agris Gedrovičs (voice, acoustic guitar), Modris Miķelsons (voice, bass guitar), Aldis Strazdiņš (drums), Kristaps Rullis (string guitar) and one of the best country guitarists in the Baltics – Jānis ). The group was founded in 2001 and this year celebrates its 20th anniversary; It has won the Latvian Music Record of the Year Award three times, released several music albums, performed and won awards at various country music festivals in Europe. She has performed not only in Latvia, but also in Lithuania, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Denmark and Switzerland.
