Pedestrians seriously injured in accident – Hanau
On Friday evening, around 7 p.m., a 56-year-old man from Großkrotzenburg drove his gray Opel Meriva on the state road in the direction of Hanau Wolfgang. At the junction at the level of the Neuwirthaus, he detected a pedestrian who was there in the area of the road. The 35-year-old passer-by suffered severe head injuries and had to be hospitalized. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured and his car was damaged by around 5,000 euros. The Großauheim police station is now determining how the accident came about, whether one of those involved was under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the result of a blood sample will show. Furthermore, an expert was called in to clarify the course of the accident. There were disabilities until shortly after 10 p.m. for the rescue measures and the accident recording.
