Boris Johnson again dad – seventh time
–
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has become a father for the seventh time, just as his Government keeps jumping from one crisis to another, be it COVID-19, fishing licenses with France, refugees in the English Channel and the ever-imminent announcement that Scotland wants a new independence referendum.
Added to all this was the alleged clandestine Christmas party that led to the resignation of a high-ranking official. And before he could take a minute off, the new baby arrived, his second child with his current and third wife, Carrie, who already has Wilfred, born in April 2020 while the prime minister was hospitalized with COVID-19.
“Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his wife Carrie today announced the birth of a healthy baby girl at a London hospital. The couple would like to thank the brilliant NHS (Public Health Service) maternity team for all their care and support, ”says a statement from the prime minister’s office.
Johnson moved to 10 Downing Street when he took office in 2019 and became the first unmarried couple to openly live in the official UK government residence. It was only in May 2021 that the 57-year-old prime minister married Carrie, 33.
The head of government has four children from his second wife, Marina Wheeler, a lawyer, with whom he lived for about 25 years. Another son, born in 2009 from an extramarital affair with art expert Helen Macintyre, and whose paternity he had initially denied, was legally recognized in 2013.
The name of the newest member of the Johnson family is still unknown, but the stakes are as follows: Josephine (5/1), Sephira (6/1), Sarah (8/1), Anne (10/1), Geromina ( 12/1). The couple’s first child, Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson, was named after the doctors who treated Boris for Covid.
Carrie Johnson had boldly revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage this year that left her “heartbroken.”
Johnson has six other children, by three different women, including his ex-wife Marina Wheeler. There is a 27-year age difference between the oldest, Lara, and the most recent addition. The other children are named: Lara Lettice, Milo Arthur, Cassia Peaches, Theodore Apollo, Stephanie, and Wilfred.
Political enemies have raised the question of whether Johnson now intended to take paternity leave to spend time with his family. According to government rules, Johnson must take his two-week paternity leave within 56 days of the child’s birth.
