Berlin (dpa) – The Joshua Kimmich case has been delivering new debates to the Bundesliga for weeks. It is no different before the 15th matchday. Meanwhile, a new coach is supposed to fix it in Leipzig, in Mönchengladbach they are still holding on to the current coach.

Kimmich failure

After a month in quarantine, Joshua Kimmich was already “pawing” his feet. So reported Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann. Now the unvaccinated national player was able to test himself freely after his corona infection, but nothing will come of a comeback in the football stadium before Christmas.

The first chance of a comeback would be the start of the second half against Gladbach on January 7th. Nagelsmann has to continue to rely on Corentin Tolisso in Kimmich’s position in midfield.

German-Debüt

Only two training units are available for Domenico Tedesco before his debut on the RB Leipzig coaching bench on Saturday against Borussia Mönchengladbach. The German-Italian, who was without a club in the past six months after leaving Spartak Moscow, relies primarily on talks with the players. “I have to see where I can help,” said Tedesco.

However, he is doomed to quick success. If he wants to achieve the goal of qualifying for the Champions League, which is still kept alive by the club’s management, the three games should not be lost until the winter break. Last Sunday, three defeats in a row led to the premature separation of the Leipziger from Jesse Marsch, who was only signed up at the beginning of the season.
