Market Development Manager at HP Indonesia, Frans Adireja, said that the laptop combines the functions of a smartphone, tablet and PC.
“Everything is combined into a laptop that can be used like a cellphone, tablet with digital pen, and PC. This is quite interesting,” he said in a virtual event on Thursday, December 9, 2021.
This device comes with a flexible magnesium unibody design, and is equipped with chip made by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2. The chip will support multi-gigabit connection speeds with 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, and offer battery life of up to 24.5 hours.
Screen HP Elite Folio has a diagonal size of 13.5 inches, coupled with HP Fast Charge technology that can recharge the battery to 90 percent in just 90 minutes. The laptop has also been designed to maintain the security of user data, because it is equipped with an HP Privacy Camera, an HD webcam with an integrated cover.
“As well as the optional HP Sure View Reflect privacy panel to protect information on the screen from prying eyes,” said Frans.
The webcam also has a viewing distance of up to 76 degrees, plus two microphones, and high definition speakers with Audio by Bang & Olufsen. Whether from the office or home, the HP Elite Folio can adapt to any environment thanks to its fanless design and quiet keyboard.
“This device is also equipped with an HP Elite Slim Active Pen which is always ready, with a charging cradle and integrated storage for quick access,” said Frans.
In addition, this premium laptop has been coated with vegan leather and some parts also use processed waste, such as plastic keyboard parts, so this laptop is quite environmentally friendly.
In terms of quality, Frans continued, the HP Elite Folio already has military standards, because it has passed 120 thousand hours of testing. “Everything is tested in such a way as to make the device really durable,” he said again.
Regarding the operating system, the HP Elite Folio is already running Windows 10 Pro which can be updated to Windows 11. “This is a very complete solution. And the price of the HP Elite Folio starts from Rp. 31 million, it is already available at various HP business partners, both online and offline,” said Frans.
