AMSTERDAM – Tottenham Hotspur’s statement that the Conference League game against Stade Rennais on Thursday cannot take place seems to have been a premature and solitary move by the English club. UEFA has not officially confirmed the cancellation and the opponent has now published a statement in which the French express their disapproval of Spurs’ behavior.
