Two different brands will release their latest mobile phones, Motorola Moto Edge X30 and realme GT 2 Pro, today, Thursday, December 9, 2021. Ahead of their launch, some information on the specifications of the two phones has leaked online.
Motorola shared an image of the phone that reveals how the back will look like. The smartphone looks to be coming in two color options, Autumn Tung Shadow and Qiongtai Snow, and has a triple rear camera setup that is aligned vertically.
In addition, the brand that was founded in Chicago, United States, also recently revealed live images of the smartphone screen and confirmed that the smartphone will be launched with a 60 MP front camera embedded under the screen.
While the three rear cameras will come with a 50 MP main sensor, 50 MP ultra-wide, and 2 MP depth. This smartphone is expected to be one of the first Android phones to be equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip.
According to previous reports, the Moto Edge X30 could also feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. This smartphone can also be launched with the Android 12 operating system, which makes it one of the first smartphones besides the Pixel 6 series to launch with the latest Android operating system.
In addition, it will also be supported by a RAM capacity of up to 16 GB and 512 GB of internal storage, and can be powered by a 5,000 mAh battery, with support for 68W fast charging.

Separately, the realme GT 2 Pro which was confirmed to be launching today, will also be equipped with the same chip as the Moto Edge X30, namely the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The company claims that the latest model will be the first flagship phone from the brand, although it is still unclear about this. with detailed specifications.
The Chinese brand may take some time to launch the realme GT 2 Pro in the market, although the company is likely to reveal some details during the announcement. This move could be a strategy to compete against Motorola, which also released new products with the same chip.
Previous leaks mentioned that the Realme GT 2 Pro is reportedly in the plans to debut early next year. Meanwhile, some recent reports suggest that this phone might come with 125W fast charging and feature a 120Hz display.
