On Instagram, Samantha shares a snapshot of her father with an emotional message. ‘I have to get something off my chest (…) My dear father has been a heart patient for many years and so once again needed a new stent. He had to wait 3.5 months (yes, you read that right!) with the result that he became a ticking time bomb’, the singer begins.
Her father is treated just in time. She continues: ‘Fortunately he can tell and he has now been helped. dr. S. Somi was able to treat him with the very latest technology that every heart patient would need. You already understand, that is not allowed, because that is too expensive. I think that, just like the long waiting times in healthcare, is outrageous!’

However, Samantha praises the doctors and nurses: ‘Of course it is not due to the healthcare staff who do their very best and whom I respect immensely, but it is due to the government. Hurry up with scaling up healthcare. This cannot go on any longer, there are too many victims who should never have fallen.’
The singer receives many messages of support after her message. ‘Totally agree. Care should have already been scaled up for C! We can’t do without all those lovely care employees,” someone responds. Soundos El Ahmadi also agrees with Samantha completely: ‘Why do you have to say sorry for being negative for once? You’re just right. Healthcare has been under pressure for years and then we can applaud until we weigh ourselves, but we structurally need more money for healthcare.’
