It’s no secret that the partnership between Ford and Volkswagen goes beyond Ford Tourneo Connect in a Volkswagen Caddy coat to create a pair of pick-ups on the same basis, which, on the contrary, was developed primarily by Ford. The American brand has already introduced a new ranger, the Germans are preparing for the premiere.
–
Published sketches suggest that the new Amarok will be easily distinguished visually from the ranger. The bow is in the style of the brand’s passenger cars. In the interior, the pair will probably differ less, at least the steering wheel or seats are unique, if we can judge from the drawing.
–
The novelty will replace the first edition, which was introduced in 2010 and still numbers over 800,000 units sold. The pick-up was manufactured in Hanover and production continues to this day at the Pacheco plant in Argentina. The latest version, which will return to Europe, will be produced by the Silverton plant in South Africa.
–
The second generation will be introduced next year, we can count on it on the Czech market in the first half of 2023.
