EA suspicious letter sent on Tuesday evening (local time) for a police operation in the German Consulate General in New York. A local police officer told the German Press Agency that a dubious substance had been found in the post. Further details were initially not given.
At first it was also unclear what the substance was. A spokesman for the German representation confirmed a routine examination of a substance. However, this turned out to be harmless.
