The recently announced Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves collection finally has a release date, but so far only on PS5, PC gamers will probably wait a little longer. If you own a PlayStation 5, write down the date January 28, 2022.
The collection contains two parts – Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and the spin-off Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, both games were originally released on PS4 and were locked at 30 FPS. That will change now, as we learned from the official PS blog. You can look forward to three modes:
- Quality mode – native 4K resolution and 30 FPS
- Power mode – 60 FPS (unknown resolution, probably dynamic 4K?)
- Power mode + – Full HD resolution and 120 FPS
In addition, there was also a significant reduction of loading times, added 3D audio and DualSense driver support. So you can expect rich use of haptic response and adaptive triggers. Multiplayer, on the other hand, has disappeared from both games and will no longer be supported.
The collection stands 1 319 CZK a pre-orders they are already running. Owners of at least one of these games can upgrade for 270 CZK, whether he owns it digitally or physically. But beware, if you got Uncharted 4 from PlayStation Plus, the discount doesn’t apply to you.
