Health experts have explained why there are cases of infection among people who are vaccinated in full.
In a post on Facebook, on Monday, December 6, on the official page of the vaccination campaign in Romania, the authorities transmit that the vaccine is not 100% effective in preventing diseases, but it protects against a serious form of disease.
Authorities also warn that vaccinated people must wear a mask and observe all protective measures.
“COVID-19 vaccines provide protection against the severe form of the disease and death. But no vaccine is 100% effective in preventing disease, so some people who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 can still become infected.
People who are fully vaccinated are at a much lower risk of developing a serious form or dying from COVID-19 than people who are not vaccinated. To help prevent COVID-19 cases, everyone – even fully vaccinated people – should wear a protective mask and follow all protective measures.
Vaccines play an extremely important role in preventing severe forms of COVID-19 and remain very effective in preventing hospitalizations.
Get vaccinated to protect yourself.
By vaccination against COVID-19:
– reduces the risk of infection;
– the risk of transmitting the virus is reduced;
– the risk of hospitalization is considerably reduced;
– the risk of death is considerably reduced ”, it is shown in the post on the RO Vaccinare page.
