In all, the capital will have 22 vaccination centers. Three centers will have an exceptional capacity: Parc des Expositions, Porte de Versailles in the 15th district, open from December 11; at station F in the 13th, from December 18; at the City of Sciences and Industry, Porte de la Villette in the 19th on December 9th. This third space will however close its doors “at the beginning of January”, replaced by a center in front of the Town Hall in the 1st arrondissement.
In all, nearly 105,000 weekly vaccination slots will be accessible, specifies the police headquarters.
In addition to Île-de-France, the situation is deteriorating nationally. During a press conference on Monday, Jean Castex called on the French to be “lucid” about the health and epidemic situation, without “giving in to panic” thanks to vaccination.
At least 10 million people have received their vaccine booster, the Minister of Health announced on December 4. The Prime Minister estimates that they could be 15 million, by January.
