HBO Max has shared the first images of the Harry Potter reunion. And connoisseurs will recognize a lot of elements in it, such as the newspaper the Daily Prophet (in Dutch the Morning Prophet). We still have to wait until January 1, 2022 for the full special.

There are new images of the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts, the reunion on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the first film Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. That reunion will be shown on the streaming service HBO Max on January 1, 2022.
There is still a lot of mystery surrounding the special. But in the new trailer there are already some details that will not escape connoisseurs. For example, the front page of the Daily Prophet announces that the alumni are returning to Hogwarts (Hogwarts in Dutch), we see the well-known steam train that departs from platforms nine and three quarters and some former cast members receive their invitations for the special per brief.
The three protagonists, Daniel Radcliff, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, will be there anyway. But Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Isaacs, Gary Oldman, Imelda Staunton, Tom Felton, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Mark Williams, Bonnie Wright, Alfred Enoch, Matthew Lewis, Evanna Lynch, Ian Hart and director Chris Columbus signs also present. Writer JK Rowling won’t be attending. That would be because of her statements about gender identity.
