In general, the coronavirus was detected in more than a hundred people who were all evening in one restaurant.
In the Norwegian capital, Oslo, 120 people have been confirmed with the coronavirus after visiting a restaurant in the city center. About this on Sunday, December 5, reported TV channel NRK.
According to reports, the majority of the infected (about 70 people) are participants in the pre-Christmas corporate party organized by Scatec on November 26. The rest of the infected were in the institution that evening.
At the same time, the sequencing results showed that 13 visitors were infected with the COVID-19 Omicron strain. It is assumed that there are many times more such cases, since the study of biomaterials continues.
Recall that 70% of the population aged 12 and over are vaccinated against coronavirus in Norway. Despite this and the tightening of quarantine restrictions from December 2, the number of cases of infection is growing. Among others, COVID patients are diagnosed with a new Omicron strain.
Previously new type of coronavirus mutation recorded in Romania… Two citizens infected with Omicron flew in from South Africa.
