Shot released in Geuzenveld – AT5

An as yet unknown gunman fired a shot at the Wigbolt Ripperdastraat in Geuzenveld tonight.

The police were alerted around 8.15pm. Several police cars are on the scene. Officers investigate at a playground.

The Forensic Investigation Department is also present. “A shot was fired once, but we have yet to find out who or what was shot at,” said a police spokesperson.

The street has since been closed off by the police. According to bystanders, it seems that the playground is the ‘crime scene’.
