On Saturday, 04.12.21 at around 7:25 p.m., the 52-year-old Ford driver with a trailer drove from the Herkules-Markt in Niedersachswerfen across the Netto-Markt parking lot in the direction of B4 and accelerated audibly. The driver accelerated further and drove over a curb into the approaching green strip. Behind the grass strip a hedge of thorns stopped him. Here the team had to be recovered by a towing service. On site, the driver looked completely drunk and a breath alcohol test carried out showed a value of 2.56 per mille. Blood was taken from the driver as evidence. The driver’s license was secured and a criminal complaint for drunk driving was made.
