In Poland, a 38-year-old Ukrainian citizen died after being detained by the police. In law enforcement assure that they did not use physical force during the arrest, however, the exact cause of death will be established after autopsy.
The incident took place in the town of Skierniewice. According to preliminary data, on the eve of the arrest, the Ukrainian wandered down the street with a stick and behaved aggressively… This is reported by the edition Messages.
The police said that the detainee attacked a woman who was standing at a bus stop. He also threatened other people. Spokesman for the Provincial Police Department Ioanna Kotska said that before the police arrived, a citizen of Ukraine was tied up by passers-by… After that, without the use of physical force, the Polish law enforcement officers handcuffed him and took him to the police station.
